Shannan graduated from the University of Maine, Orono with her Bachelor’s in Pre-Veterinary Sciences. After graduating UMO she traveled out to the Arizona Canine Academy to become a certified trainer. She opened her Boarding kennel in the spring of 2005. Her love of dogs began when she was very young. At 16 she purchased and trained her first labrador. She fell completely in love with the breed. At 18 she began working with a reputable breeder and started learning retriever work. To this day labradors are still her first love.
